Aromatherapy is the ancient art of healing use of fragrant essential oils and herbs to promote natural healing and health. Choose a scented essential oil in an aromatherapy scent that you want. Oils allow the manipulation by the therapist to go a bit easier. Hands glide easily over the skin and massage the tired muscles and tissues. You can be purchased scented essential oil at organic or natural health stores. You’ll also need olive oil to dilute the essential oil, and a small bottle to hold the finished massage oil. In addition to massage oil, some therapists use lotions.

When it comes to using massage oils for aromatherapy not all oils are the same. There are so many different types of massage oil on the market today that it can be difficult which one to choose. For certain situation some work than others.
