GMO Food – The Weapon Against The Human Species

Now I’m not saying that I love all insects, especially when they try to invade my food at a bar-b-que or picnic but not all insects are bad such as the honeybees and monarch butterfly caterpillars which are greatly needed for pollination of our food crops. Studies have shown the decline in population of these insects’ ties directly to the pollen in the GMO crops producing insecticides.

Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are not safe. They have been linked to thousands of toxic and allergenic reactions, thousands of sick, sterile, and dead livestock, and damage to virtually every organ and system studied in lab animals. Biotech companies, who have been found guilty of hiding toxic effects of their chemical products, are now in charge of determining whether their GM foods are safe. Yet in other countries GMO foods are linked to allergic reactions, damaged intestines, reproductive problems, infant mortality, new diseases, and nutritional problems. In animals they are seeing deformed offspring, sterility problems in pigs, cows, buffaloes, chickens, and horses they have also found liver problems and mice having altered sperm cells and the list goes on and on. The only published human feeding experiment verified that genetic material inserted into GM soy transfers into the DNA of intestinal bacteria and continues to function. This means that long after we stop eating GM foods, we may still have their GM proteins produced continuously inside us, yet all is okay in the USA and GMOs are good for us… really?

In short GMO foods are an environmental hazard, human health hazard, and an economic hazard, therefore they need to be eliminated. But that’s just my opinion and as always buy organic foods and supplements.
